Dear Jesus Web Series Shows A Young Writer’s Ups And Downs Of Life
The award winning* Dear Jesus is a made for web drama series written and directed by Danielle Scott-Haughton and produced by Wonderlondon Films.
The series revolves around a young fashion journalist, Mercedes, whose life falls apart and writes prayers to Jesus on her laptop to make sense of it all. Whilst referencing “Jesus”, Dear Jesus is not a “religious” drama series. Instead the show focuses on the ups and downs of Mercedes’ life and how a little faith can go a long way.
Season 2 saw the arrival of Mercedes’ older sister, Alexis, who inspired the development of the spinoff, The Alexis Show. This five-part series, which began on Monday 3rd February, further introduces the character of Alexis and delves in to her past.
Dear Jesus Season 3 is currently in production and will be premiering on Monday 17th March. The series will follow on from season 2, incorporating the spinoff, in 10 parts.
